I want to say thank you again for your positive influence in Aya’s life, and how it’s shaped who she is.

 

Your coaching, from when Aya was a girl, continues on in her personal development as young woman, and I attribute her recent accomplishments in flying to that, and the steps that got her to this point.

 

Aya completed her first independent solo flight in her pursuit to obtain her pilot license. She’s been diligently studying and flying aircraft at the Victoria Flying Club, and has her mind set on becoming a commercial pilot. What stands out to me is the level of focus and determination she has. This absolutely began in Kingston, on ice, when it was up early, practicing, falling down and getting back up, pushing the goals and overcoming challenges to achieve success.

 

I’m so proud of Aya and I’m very thankful that you helped her see what is possible at a young age and to pursue dreams. This kind of learning and experience is extra special and you are an amazing and caring teacher and coach.
